Guide d'installation

Guide d'installation

Before your Quooker arrives

Kitchen readiness checklist

Walk through these six checks before installation day so your plumber can finish the job in a single visit. Belgium: install support via our Crowntap network. Elsewhere in Europe: we ship the tap and support you through it — installation itself stays with your local plumber.

Qualified plumber

Professional installation recommended. Your plumber confirms the exact spec for your Quooker model.

Cabinet space

Enough clearance under the sink for the reservoir (and CUBE if included), with a small service gap on each side.

Grounded 230 V socket

Reliable 230 V connection inside the cabinet, on a circuit that can supply the reservoir continuously.

Cold-water connection

Mains cold-water supply with a shut-off valve so the reservoir can be isolated for service.

Worktop hole

Standard tap hole for the Quooker spout. Confirm the diameter with your plumber before drilling.

Ventilation and clearance

Small clearance around the reservoir and CUBE so heat can dissipate and units can be serviced later.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does Watertap.eu install the Quooker for me?Open

Hands-on installation is only available in Belgium via our Crowntap partner network. Outside Belgium we ship the Quooker across the EU via DHL Express and provide guidance and support — installation itself is arranged with your own qualified plumber.

How much cabinet space do I need?Open

You need enough clearance in the cabinet under the sink for the reservoir (and CUBE if included), plus a small service gap on every side for ventilation and future maintenance access. Exact dimensions depend on the model.

Do I need a specific power connection?Open

Yes. A grounded 230 V socket must be available in the cabinet under the sink, on a circuit that can supply the reservoir continuously.

What about the worktop hole and water connection?Open

The tap fits a standard tap hole in the worktop and connects to the mains cold-water supply via a shut-off valve. Your plumber will confirm the exact spec for your Quooker model.

Do I need ventilation around the reservoir or CUBE?Open

Yes — leave a small clearance on every side of the reservoir, and a bit more around the CUBE, so the units can dissipate heat and be serviced later without removing the sink.
