Step 3

Pick the reservoir

The reservoir lives under the sink and decides how much boiling and hot water you have on tap.

ReservoirBoilingHot waterFeeds mixerBest for
PRO33 L1–2 person, existing hot water
COMBI3 L7 LMost kitchens, replaces small boiler
COMBI+3 L7 LNo nearby boiler, runs the full mixer

Temperature

Boiling at 100°C, hot at 40–60°C

Step 4

Pick the finish

Chrome and stainless steel are the safe defaults. Coloured finishes are striking but commit you to a palette — choose them once your appliances and hardware are decided.

Quooker Flex Round Chroom

Chrome

Universal, easiest to clean, matches every appliance.

Stainless steel

Soft, brushed look. Hides fingerprints better than chrome.

Black

Matte. Modern and bold. Looks best with quartz or dark stone.

Gold

Polished warm gold. Pairs with cream, walnut, marble.

Gun Metal

Dark warm grey. Subtle alternative to black.

Copper / Rose copper

Warm metallic. Statement finish — confirm it matches the handles.

Order a brushed sample door or handle in the chosen finish first if your kitchen is brand-new — finishes read very differently in showroom light vs. your actual lighting.
Step 5

Add the CUBE?

The CUBE is a separate under-sink unit that turns any Quooker into a 5-in-1 (cold, hot, boiling, chilled, sparkling).

Add it now if…

  • You drink sparkling water daily
  • You buy bottled water by the crate
  • Renovation: easier to plumb in once

Skip it if…

  • You never drink sparkling
  • Cabinet space is already tight
  • Existing soda machine works fine
Retrofitting the CUBE later means a second plumber visit. If you are 50/50, add it now — it pays back in under 2 years vs. bottled sparkling water for a family of four.

Step 7

Installation requirements

Check this before you order. Most kitchens already meet the spec.

Power

Earthed 230 V / 10 A socket inside the sink cabinet, within reach of the reservoir cable (~1.2 m).

Water

Cold-water shut-off valve below the sink, 3/8'' or 1/2'' connection. A pressure reducer is recommended above 8 bar.

Cabinet space

Minimum 25 × 25 × 35 cm for PRO3 and 25 × 25 × 47 cm for COMBI. Leave a 5 cm service gap on all sides.

Installer

Any qualified plumber can install a Quooker in 60–90 minutes. Pickup in Antwerp available; EU-wide delivery via DHL Express.

Step 8

Running costs & savings

A Quooker uses far less energy than a kettle or a separate hot-water boiler.

Source: Quooker product documentation, 2024. Real-world cost depends on tariff and household draw. In hard-water areas we strongly recommend the Quooker scale filter to protect the heating element.

Step 9

Care & lifespan

Treat it like any premium kitchen appliance.

  • Wipe the tap with a soft damp cloth — never use abrasive sponges, vinegar or descaler directly on the finish.
  • Replace the Quooker filter every 5 years (or per Quooker indicator) to keep boiling temperature stable.
  • In hard-water regions install the Quooker scale filter — it doubles practical reservoir life.
  • Average reservoir life is 15+ years with the recommended filter regime.

Step 11

Frequently asked questions

Which Quooker tap should I choose first?

For most kitchens the Fusion is the safe default — it replaces your existing mixer with one tap that delivers cold, hot and 100°C boiling water. Choose Flex if you fill large pots or vases (it has a pull-out hose). Choose Front, Nordic or Classic only when you keep your existing mixer or want a specific design language.

What is the difference between PRO3, COMBI and COMBI+?

PRO3 is a 3 L boiling-only reservoir — compact, for 1–2 person households or where a separate hot-water source already exists. COMBI adds 7 L of hot water and can replace a small under-sink boiler. COMBI+ feeds hot water to the full kitchen mixer too, useful when there is no nearby boiler.

Do I need a plumber to install a Quooker?

Yes. A Quooker needs a 220–240 V earthed socket inside the cabinet and a cold-water shut-off valve. Any qualified plumber installs it in 60–90 minutes following the Quooker manual.

How much space do I need under the sink?

Plan for roughly 25 × 25 × 35 cm for PRO3 and around 25 × 25 × 47 cm for COMBI / COMBI+. The reservoir must stand upright, with a service gap of 5 cm around it and access to the electrical socket.

Can I add the CUBE later?

Technically yes, but you will need a plumber visit and a free electrical socket next to the reservoir. If you suspect you will want chilled and sparkling water, order the CUBE with the tap — it is cheaper and avoids re-plumbing.

Will a Quooker save energy?

Yes for most households. A Quooker reservoir uses about 10 watts in standby and only heats the water you actually draw, so daily use typically costs €0.03–€0.05 — far less than boiling full kettles or running a separate hot-water boiler.

Which finishes are available?

Chrome and stainless steel are stocked across every range. Black, gold, Gun Metal, copper and rose-copper are available on most Fusion, Flex, Nordic and Classic models. Front is chrome-only.

What is the warranty?

Every Quooker carries the standard 2-year manufacturer warranty from Quooker BV. Additional warranty programmes, if offered, are handled directly by Quooker in the country of installation.
