PRO3 vs COMBI vs COMBI+

Quooker Fusion Round boiling water tap — with AWO touch-free control, pouring 100 °C boiling water in a real customer kitchen. Genuine Quooker product supplied by Watertap.eu.

Choosing the right Quooker reservoir

The reservoir is the heart of your Quooker system. It stores the water and heats it to 100 °C, so you always have instant boiling water at the tap. Quooker offers three reservoirs: PRO3, COMBI and COMBI+. All three work with the full Quooker tap range — the difference is capacity, how much you draw at once, and whether the reservoir also supplies hot water.

PRO3 — boiling water, compact build

The PRO3 is the most compact reservoir. It delivers 3 litres of boiling water and is the right choice when there is no kitchen boiler in the cupboard and you do not need instant hot tap water. It connects to the cold water supply only.

  • Volume at 100 °C: 3 litres
  • Heating-up time: 15 minutes
  • Power: 1600 W
  • Diameter: 153 mm · height: 467 mm
  • Total space height required: 550 mm
  • Filter: high-temperature active carbon filter
  • Energy label: none (the EU has not set a label standard for boiling-water reservoirs)

COMBI — boiling water and instant hot water

The COMBI adds instant hot water to boiling water. It draws 7 litres of boiling water, plus 15 litres of hot water at 60 °C or 27 litres at 40 °C. Only a cold water supply is required: the reservoir mixes cold water with the boiling water, giving you instant hot water without waiting. This is the most economical hot-water solution in the kitchen and carries energy label A.

  • Volume at 100 °C: 7 litres
  • Volume at 60 °C: 15 litres
  • Volume at 40 °C: 27 litres
  • Heating-up time: 20 minutes
  • Power: 2200 W
  • Diameter: 200 mm · height: 490 mm
  • Total space height required: 580 mm
  • Connection: cold water supply only
  • Energy label: A

COMBI+ — unlimited hot water

The COMBI+ delivers the same 7 litres of boiling water as the COMBI, but connects to both the cold and the hot water supply. That gives you unlimited instant hot water at 60 °C — no more waiting for hot water and no more running water down the drain. The tank capacity is identical to the COMBI; the difference is entirely in the hot-water supply.

  • Volume at 100 °C: 7 litres
  • Volume at 60 °C: unlimited
  • Volume at 40 °C: unlimited
  • Heating-up time: 20 minutes
  • Power: 2200 W
  • Diameter: 200 mm · height: 490 mm
  • Total space height required: 580 mm
  • Connection: cold and hot water supply
  • Energy label: none (the EU has not set a label standard for boiling-water reservoirs)

All reservoirs: minimum water supply pressure 200 kPa (2 bar), maximum 600 kPa (6 bar), maximum working pressure 800 kPa (8 bar), stand-by consumption 10 W, 230 V. Heating-up times are averages measured from cold water. The European Union has not yet set an energy label standard for boiling-water reservoirs, which is why the PRO3 and COMBI+ carry no label.

Which reservoir should you choose?

Choose the PRO3 if you only want boiling water and there is no kitchen boiler in the cupboard. It is the smallest and the easiest to fit into a tight cabinet.

Choose the COMBI if you want instant hot water as well as boiling water, and you have a cold water supply only. It is the most economical hot-water option and the one most households choose.

Choose the COMBI+ if you want unlimited instant hot water — for example in a busy household or where the hot water tap is a long way from the boiler. It needs a hot water connection as well as a cold one.

Adding CUBE? The CUBE module for chilled and sparkling water is installed alongside your existing reservoir. If you want boiling water to stay available while the CUBE is dispensing, check the capacity and space requirements above against your cabinet.

Space, power and connections

Every reservoir needs a 230 V power socket in the cabinet and a cold water connection. Check the total space height (550 mm for the PRO3, 580 mm for the COMBI and COMBI+), not just the height of the tank itself — the connections and the mounting bracket need room too.

We recommend a qualified installer for fitting a Quooker system. Always check the official Quooker documentation for your specific tap and setup before ordering.

Reservoir or CUBE?

PRO3, COMBI and COMBI+ are reservoirs: PRO3 supplies boiling water only, COMBI and COMBI+ also supply hot water to the tap.

CUBE is an extension for filtered chilled and sparkling water. A Complete CUBE Pack contains the tap, a COMBI+ reservoir and the CUBE.
