When to replace
Replace annually or sooner if taste drops. Note the install date on the cartridge.
Flush after swap
Run 5–10 litres until water is clear. Fine carbon particles are harmless but can tint the glass.
After a long absence
Flush a few glasses through before drinking or refilling.
